				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Facebook, with more than a billion users, is now the biggest social network on the planet, and a lot of companies are making big efforts to engage with their target audience in this platform. Most of the companies are bidding on content marketing across Facebook to connect with their potential clients, but did you know that, according to Facebook engineers, only about <a href="http://www.insidefacebook.com/2007/10/29/facebook%E2%80%99s-news-feed-knows-what-you-did-last-summer/" target="_blank">0.2% </a>of eligible stories make it into a user&#8217;s newsfeed.</p>
<p>And this elegible content are determined by a Facebook algorithm called &#8220;EdgeRank&#8221;. But, what is Edge Rank exactly?</p>
<p>EdgeRank is an algorithm used by Facebook to determine where and what posts appear on each individual user&#8217;s news feed in order to give users relevant and wanted content.</p>
<p>The three variables that make up this algorithm are:</p>
<ul>
<li>Affinity Score - Facebook calculates affinity score by looking at explicit actions that users take, and factoring in, the strength of the action,  how close the person who took the action was to you, and how long ago they took the action.</li>
<li>Edge Weight - Facebook changes the edge weights to reflect which type of stories they think user will find most engaging.</li>
<li>Time Decay &#8211; The determines the time passed, if they&#8217;re old they probably don&#8217;t appear.</li>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Nike is launching their new running shoes, the &#8220;<a href="http://www.nike.com/us/en_us/c/running/stories/2012/09/nike-free" title="Nike Free" target="_blank">Nike Free</a>&#8221; which are designed to let your feet move more naturally and freely than traditional athletic shoes. But the amazing thing is that this shoes are flexible as hell. </p>

<p>The idea of this type of shoe came from three creative employees of Nike. They noticed that Standford&#8217;s athletes were training barefoot in the university golf court,  this fact gave them the idea to develop a shoe that make you feel the freedom like you were barefoot. This shoes is the result of eight years of investigations and studies about the biomechanical aspects of running.   </p>
<p>To launch this new technology, Nike along with the advertising agency <a href="http://www.flock.com.mx/" title="Flock" target="_blank">Flock</a> and their star squad, <a href="https://twitter.com/danigranatta" title="Dani Granatta" target="_blank">Dani Granatta</a>, <a href="https://twitter.com/sallesino" title="Eduardo Salles" target="_blank">Eduardo Salles</a> and <a href="https://twitter.com/nickonogues" title="Nicko Nogués" target="_blank">Nicko Nogués</a> decided to create the world&#8217;s first flexible store.</p>

<p>Did you see the flexible capacity of the shoe in the image above?. Well, they create a <a href="http://www.flexibilidad.mx/disena-la-tienda" title="Nike Freestore" target="_blank">website</a> in which you can manipulate a virtual store like you can manipulate the shoe, but wait, that&#8217;s not all. The architect Fernando Ortiz Monasterio design the actual physical store that can move like it did in your computer or smartphone, in fact you can program your &#8220;movement&#8221; and go to see it in the exposition Zona Maco. </p>

<p>The world’s No.1 premium beer brand celebrates its 140th anniversary with several surprising activities and campaigns around the world, and it&#8217;s no different in our country. For one night a public place in Budapest was transformed to honor Heineken’s birthday and the recently introduced bottles.</p>
<p>Last Friday night at Madách Square despite the bad weather, thousands of people were amazed by Heineken’s ray painting show. Hundreds of people participated at the kick off of the seven hours long (19:00-02:00) square-show but visitors and walk-byers could enjoy the animation, specially made for this event until dawn. The film was conjured via high-performance projectors on the facade of the office building. Universe of <a href="http://pullthetrigger.me/tag/heineken/" title="Heineken" target="_blank">Heineken</a> opened itself before the eyes of the people of Budapest in a size of 32&#215;30 meters.</p>
<p>The beer brand holds more surprise for the Hungarian customers this year, as most the year of the 140th anniversary is still to come.</p>

<p>Ok this is a little old since we are in 2013 and this campaign was implemented in the summer of 2012 but still this is a GREAT IDEA produced for Sprite by <a href="http://pullthetrigger.me/tag/ogilvy/" title="Ogilvy" target="_blank">Ogilvy</a> Brasil.</p>
<p>Sprite Shower. A giant Sprite dispenser placed in one of the most crowded<br />
beaches in Brazil, where people could have a cold refreshing shower during<br />
Brazilian summer, where temperatures reach close to 40ºc.</p>
<p>With more then 1,500 showers everyday, together with a sampling strategy<br />
around the machine. Sprite Shower was able to leverage the brand above all others in the field and consumers more than merely hearing about Sprite’s refreshing power, felt it directly all over their bodies.</p>

<p>Created by <a href="http://pullthetrigger.me/tag/ogilvy-mather/" title="Ogilvy &#038; Mather" target="_blank">Ogilvy &#038; Mather</a> Paris and intended for mature audiences only, Secret Place was designed to appeal to the edgy, Perrier drinker who is looking for the ultimate experience both in life and online. </p>
<p>“Our goal was to give people the opportunity to live an experience they wouldn&#8217;t normally live, but have always dreamed about,” said Chris Garbutt, Chief Creative Office, Ogilvy &#038; Mather Paris. “And thanks to Perrier, you can live it not once, but multiple times, through the eyes of multiple characters. This is an idea that is only possible thanks to the technology we have at our disposal today, and a bit of creative thinking.”</p>
<p><a class="highslide img_28" href="http://pullthetrigger.me/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/PressLayout031.jpg" onclick="return hs.expand(this)"><img src="http://pullthetrigger.me/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/PressLayout031-300x168.jpg" alt="PressLayout03(1)" width="300" height="168" class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-2931" /></a>In addition to the desktop version, Secret Place will be available on mobile devices through an application that runs on iPhone, iPad and Android.  This application allows users to navigate through each room of the party and find the secret bottle of Perrier.</p>
<p>The interactive Secret Place campaign will be supported by other marketing initiatives including social amplification and a digital media buy.  The sweepstakes  will run in 20 countries across the globe.</p>
<p>Created in celebration of Perrier’s 150th anniversary, Secret Place combines brand entertainment with gaming. Within Secret Place, five clues can be found that will lead to a special hidden Perrier bottle, where guests can enter the sweepstakes for a chance to win a trip for two to Carnival in Rio, Ibiza in Spain, St. Tropez in France, Art Basel in Miami or New Year’s Eve in Sydney, Australia. One winner will be selected each week for the five weeks of the campaign.</p>
